Unit'.)  For Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM),
a list of pairs of slot numbers and widths can be used,

slot width 2 and a frequency slot 3 with slot width 3.
Canonically, the string is represented as all lowercase and in
hex, where the prefix '0x' precedes the hex number.";
